What is the COP Index?
Our own journal strength score from Scimago cites per document and SJR. If a journal has no valid SJR, it has no COP Index — we do not invent a fallback. Inside each subject category we mark D1 (top 10%) plus Q1–Q4 so you can spot the strongest venues in field, not just a global list.

Is COP Index the same as Journal Impact Factor?
No. Clarivate IF is not shown here. COP Index is calibrated to a similar magnitude using open Scimago fields, and is only computed when SJR exists.
What does D1 mean on a journal card?
Top 10% by COP Index within that journal’s Scimago category — stricter than classic Q1 (top 25%).
Can I browse without pasting an abstract?
Yes — use Journal list or Explore categories, then apply filters.
